The History

This Constitution is a redraft of the original Constitution adopted at the Annual General Meeting of the South African National Archery Association held at Bloemfontein on the 12th November, 1949, and thereafter amended from time to time. This edition contains the constitution, rules and by-laws, and their amendments as agreed to by the South African National Archery Association at the various Annual General Meetings held during 1979, 1983, 1986, 1990-2014


Note
Any references to specific articles of the World Archery Federation Constitution and Rules, previously known as “la Fédération Internationale de Tir à l’ Arc” (FITA), are those that came into force on 1 April 2008. It must be noted that any reference in this document referring to a specific gender should be taken to imply both genders.
